Equipments & Land
The quay length – is almost 1km long and 14 meters in depth.

Container stacking area is 41 hectares and is equipped to handle 1.5 million TEUs (Twenty feet Equivalent Unit) easily.



The Container Freight Station (CFS) of 28 hectares of storage area of which 2 hectares are of secured warehousing for stowage of  cargo.  Hazardous cargo shed are also available for dangerous cargo  .



The 3 hectares RORO stacking unit is capable of storing more than 6,000 units at a time.



IPS is also capable of handling 90 to 120 tons of bulk REEFER cargo per hour in 2 berths supported by cold store terminal with chamber capacity of 20,000 cubic meters.
 


The Ship To Shore (STS) container cranes available are 6- Panamax & 2 medium size Krupp cranes.



36 units of Straddle Carriers with capacity up to 40 tons.



2 units of rail mounted Gantry, which enable us to quickly transfer containers on board to Rail road wagons bound to Riyadh.



75 units of head trucks up to a capacity of 100 tons.




92  Forklift units with different capacities ranging from 3to 40 tons.
